You can reduce 17V AC to 12-15V AC by using a step-down transformer. A step-down transformer has a higher number of turns on the primary coil and a lower number of turns on the secondary coil, which allows it to reduce the voltage. You can select a transformer with the appropriate turns ratio to achieve the desired output voltage. Additionally, you can use a voltage regulator circuit to further fine-tune the output voltage to the desired range. **
